Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving completed a road paving project for
Tesoro Refining & Marketing Co. in their Martinez facility. Due to our stringent hiring procedures, we were able to meet Tesoro security requirements without any modifications or additional certifications. Because we work in security sensitive areas, we require all employees to be background checked and monitored at the federal government level

Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving paved a parking lot for San Juan Water District at their American River Pump Station facility.

The job consisted of grading the existing road to better drain.
After sub-base was graded and compacted, we then paved the parking lot area for employee parking.

After Caltrans had reported to the railroad they had received complaints regarding a crossing located on Highway 104, Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving mobilized to the location to repair the asphalt.

Our company worked with Caltrans to complete the project while allowing for local traffic to continue to use the crossing.

The Railroad found this crossing in need of track work.
Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving removed the asphalt and exposed the track and ties to allow the railroad to complete the track repair.
After the rail was repaired, Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving repaved the crossing to allow for local traffic to use the crossing once again.

Paving an off-loading facility in Sacramento. Asphalt was installed in thick “lifts” to accomidate heavy truck traffic. This specific facility was constructed to unload lumber products.

Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving can handle most any grading or paving project. Working with the property owner, we constructed a commercial loading dock to fit the customer’s specfications. This project had to be overbuilt to handle the proposed weight limits.

A recent accident required the local authorities to use a bike path for access. Due to the unusual heavy traffic, the bike path deteriorated. Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving was there to quickly repave the pathway and restore the area back to it’s original condition.
