Another railroad crossing repair project in Rocklin, California. These crossings had concrete RXR ties installed and subsequently, we paved the encroachments with hot mix asphalt. Railroad Crossing Repair West Sacramento

The Railroad found this crossing in need of track work.

Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving removed the asphalt and exposed the track and ties to allow the railroad to complete the track repair.

After the rail was repaired, Todd Heldt Excavating & Paving repaved the crossing to allow for local traffic to use the crossing once again.

Paving Railroad Off-Loading Facility

Paving an off-loading facility in Sacramento. Asphalt was installed in thick “lifts” to accomidate heavy truck traffic. This specific facility was constructed to unload lumber products.

Paving in 3″ lifts was required to achieve maximum compaction of the asphalt
